The 65-year-old Rief was appointed to the University of Marburg in 2000 and will retire at the end of 2025. The university has offered him a extended visiting professorship.
Stefan G. Hofmann is Alexander von Humboldt Professor of Clinical Psychology at the Philipps-Universität Marburg and a member of the research cluster "the adaptive mind" (TAM). He is a senior manager of the establishment of a centre for translational clinical psychology, where results from neuroscience research are transferred to clinical psychology.
